From the late 1800s France, a lovely and large jardiniere decorated with repoussé repeating scenes picturing hunting dogs chasing a stag. This method of decorating metals in which parts of the design are raised in relief from the back or the inside of the article was popular in the 1800s. Three ornamental legs.
